Impact on the Job Market

Intel has announced that it will build two new chip-producing plants in Ohio. Over time as many as eight plants may be built on the site. Construction will begin at the end of 2022 and the first two plants will be operational by 2025.

Building and operating these plants will create jobs in several different industries. According to Intel, they plan to bring 3000 Intel jobs, 7000 construction jobs, and tens of thousands of other local jobs to the area. That’s a huge opportunity for people with the right skills. BCS is here to prepare you for these new roles.

It’s not only Intel and construction jobs that are coming! When such a large industry comes to town, there is a ripple effect. Everyone will be hiring more in response to the new workers and infrastructure in the area. BCS graduates are ready to be hired because they have developed the life skills and job skills they need.
