The end of the school year is a few months away, did you just find out you might not graduate? Buckeye Community School (BCS) is here to help. We have helped lots of students just like you – we can get you back on track and you may even be able to graduate in your original class year.
At Buckeye Community School (BCS), your schedule is totally up to you. You decide when you want to come into our school buildings, when you check-in with teachers, and when you take exams. If you want to speed up classes, you can. If you want to slow down other classes, that’s ok too.
If you want to walk for graduation with your class, we will go the extra mile to help you make that happen.
Do you want to take the pressure off of a graduation date? If you are not enjoying the pace of high school and want to slow down, we are here for you however you need us. At BCS, we help all students up to age 21 graduate with a fully recognized Ohio state diploma. Our free, public high school is full of support and unique solutions for every student.
Need to Make Up Credits?
At BCS, you move through classes at your own pace. If you need to recover credits, just turn in all assignments and pass your exam with at least a 75% grade. Take the exam any time. This is the key to our Demonstrated Mastery model. The cool part is that you can retake exams until you pass with 75% or higher, and you can do it all on your own schedule.
We help you design an Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) to match your life, your schedule, and your learning style. Wherever you are in your high school career, Buckeye will help. We understand everyone’s path is different. That’s why our teaching model is flexible and tailored to what works for you.

Buckeye graduates from our CareerTech programs are able to start highly-skilled careers right after graduating. Students in our Dual Enrollment programs get a tuition-free jumpstart on college credits and a greater understanding of what the demands of college will be.
